I’m Amanda, and this little site is dedicated to keeping people informed.

Informed of what you may ask?

As of August 6, 2007, I will be traveling to Australia for a six month period of missions and dedication to the Lord. I am going through an organization called Youth With A Mission…from here on out known as YWAM. I will be taking part in what is known as a Discipleship Training School, which is a school aimed at “preparing messengers of the gospel, helping students to know God in depth. The goal is to form Christian character and establish Biblical relationships while developing a daily walk with God.” I will be in classes during the morning, and then afternoons will be dedicated to ministry of some sort. Honestly, I don’t know what all to expect, which is wonderful!

This trip has been under prayer and consideration in my life for about a year and a half, and it’s crazy to see it finally arrive. God is good, faithful, and much bigger than I ever imagined him to be. He has a certain level of mystery mixed with an unfathomable amount of love, which has been evident in my life this whole time. I’m excited to see it revealed both in my life and in the lives of others over the next six months.

Thank you to everyone who has encouraged me, prayed for me, talked with me, supported me, and loved me… you all hold a special place in my heart, and I would love to hear from you at some point!
